Studio Ramsay Adds Diversity Traineeship

With a determined focus on creating lasting change regarding issues surrounding diversity and inclusion Studio Ramsay has created a Diversity Traineeship.

Lisa Edwards, Chief Creative Officer of Studio Ramsay said; “This year has reminded us all we have to take a long hard look at our own unconscious bias, recognising the changes that need to be made. As an organisation we want to work harder to step up and support understanding, through our own education, through mentoring, coaching and by creating future career opportunities within our company and our wider industry.

The Studio Ramsay Diversity Traineeship will be a yearlong paid position available to talented individuals who with the support and shared experience of the many excellent executives within the Studio will become the production talents of the future.”

Meet Ore

My name is Ore, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Media Production. My goal is to work in the film and TV industry to create stories on individuals and people that matter. In Jan 2019, I curated an artist development programme with young creatives, putting on a production in June 2019 where I produced, scripted and directed my first acting piece, which I hope to put onto screen. In 2020, I was the Creative Director and Producer of the Waitrose advert for recruitment and inclusion within their workplace. With this diversity traineeship, I am keen to gain insight into the industry while contributing to the company's progression and work with a team that is accustomed to creating hit programmes.
