Studio Ramsay Promotes Sharon Powers to Director of Programmes and Adds 2 to Diversity Internship Programme

Studio Ramsay Global (SRG) today announced it has promoted Sharon Powers to the newly created role, Director of Programmes. Powers, the prolific Executive Producer and previously, Creative Director and Commissioning Editor, has worked on some of TV’s biggest shows including, The Great British Bake Off, GBBO Extra Slice (BBC 2 & Channel 4), Big Brother (Channel 4), This Morning (ITV), Celebs Go Dating (E4) and more recently as Exec Producer for Gordon Ramsay’s Future Food Stars (Series 1 &2 for BBC 1).

Reporting to SRG Founder Gordon Ramsay and CCO, Lisa Edwards - the Director of Programmes brief will be to oversee the existing slate of programmes in production, in both the UK and US to manage broadcaster and talent relationships, ensuring consistency and creativity whilst delivering the very best production quality across all content.

Studio Ramsay has also appointed two new Interns, Reece Oyeleye and Keanè O’Neil Brangman to its yearlong Diversity Internship programme.

Director of Production, Eleanor Bailey said: “Studio Ramsay is committed to nurturing talent and mentoring those who may not immediately see a way into TV through their background or lack of experience. We have been overwhelmed by the applications for this year’s Diversity Internship, so much so, we have chosen 2 exceptional trainees to join us for 12 months and we look forward to welcoming Reece and Keanè to the Studio in September 2022.”
