Abby Kumar

Much to the dismay of her Australian uncle, after completing a seemingly sensible degree in technology and business, Abby decided to pursue a career in television.

With a keen eye for pacing, originality, and all things funny, she’s found success developing everything from entertainment formats to scripted comedy – a few highlights include: developing and producing the BBC short-form comedy series The Archiveologists, Sky comedy entertainment special A League Of Their Own: The Lionesses and season 2 of the Channel 4 travelogue Trip Hazard. Never one to shy away from trying something different Abby has also produced Radio 4’s Newsjack and multiple podcasts.

Outside of TV, Abby can be found crocheting bucket hats, attempting to write a spy novel (with a female protagonist, obvs) and loudly claiming she makes the best guac outside of Mexico... Her uncle still worries about her life choices.
